Hello Dwellers,
Many of you have been inquiring about this subject since our doors first opened, recently more & more people have been discovering Bronx’s best kept secret….The Lair & I can only thank all of our dwellers for the support & community that we have built with collectors of the Bronx. Finally we are bringing something new to our community & there will be no need for Bronx hobbyist & gamers to travel far to enjoy what they love.
The Lair is proud to announce a new partnership with Wizards of the Coast & it’s Affiliates. The Lair will now carry card game products such as Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Kaijudo, Avalon Hill & Duel Masters. The Lair will not only be an authorized Wizards of the Coast Dealer we are also an authorized WPN game store location. This means The Lair will host sanctioned tournament events on a weekly basis such as Friday Night Magic.
More details to follow after July 4th weekend as The Lair will be closed for renovations until then. Wednesday July 2nd we will be OPEN for our COMIC SUBSCRIBERS. Our target date for re-opening is July 5th.

I would first like to thank Neal Adams for honoring us with his appearance at The Lair. I also want to thank Frankie, Dave, D block ,Izzy & Ted for helping out with this epic day! Also Thank you Craig ,Marco, Rob & rest of the 49 crew. But I would especially like to thank all you Dwellers that came out & support the The Lair !!!!Shout out to Bx Allday!!!! MMA master Severe!!! John Sanchez!!! Big Rick & his lovely Wife!!!So many more I can’t think of. It was such an exciting day! You all are great & I hope you enjoyed the Neal Adams Signing , the Hot Chocolate & Pizza. What’s up Dwellers!
I would like to thank all the wonderful comic book fans for stopping by & showing your support. I hope everyone enjoyed the annual BBQ. I know many of you great fans took advantage of our sale on trades, hardcovers, back issues, t-shirts & other items. I would like to personally thank GRILL MASTER BASE!!!! for your skills on the grill & for your help on this day. A shout goes out to my right hand in the shop Frankie!!! We stood in the shop til 2 am the night before fixing the store for free comic book day & he was he at noon to work – you the DA MAN!!!!!! Another shout out goes out to BIG GRIZZ!!! from hit TV show 30 Rock who came down & chilled with the fans. Lastly need to thank Mike Comics & Ali, the Neal’s, the Carello’s, K-LUV (you know who you are mami…lol) Lina (for the cake) , Mundongo & Cat (for kid entertainment), my neighbor & his wife whom are expecting in July ( thx for the Brew’s) last but not least my wife Jelly, Aidan & Ian – I love you guys. Thank you all for coming out & helping grow my business – with great family & friends like you guys The Lair will continue to grow & grow & grow becoming a great neighborhood comic shop!

Friday, October 26th, 2012I would like to thank all fans,collector’s & friends that came out to support The Lair, without you guys&gals it wouldnt be posiible. Also I want to take this opportunity to thank my family & friends that helped me out a great deal during the CON – Dave, Derrick, DIZ, Doug, Ricky, Blaise, Frankie, My Brother Chris, Karen for picking up Aidan From school, My man Pietro, Alfner & His wife for bringing me Lunch & of course My Wife Jelly for keeping it together & holding the fort down at home with the boys (I owe you some QT..lol) Thank You All, with out your support I would really Lose it.
